Women Health Checkup: On Mother’s Day, people give precious gifts to their mothers. If someone buys an expensive saree, then someone gifts an expensive phone, but if you really love your mother. Take care of your mother’s health and get her all the necessary medical tests done. With ageing, a woman starts having various health problems. Medical test required for women
1- Heart check- At the age of 50, you should get ECG, Echo, EKG (Electrocardiogram) BP and TMT done every year.
2- Blood pressure check- High blood pressure is considered the silent killer, as it increases the risk of stroke and heart attack without showing any symptoms. That’s why you should get your medical check-up done regularly.
3- Bone density test- At the age of 60, problems related to bones start bothering both men and women. The elderly are at an increased risk of osteoporosis at this age. Therefore, get the bone density test done once in a year.
4- Psychological screening- By this age, women become menopause, due to which there are problems like mood swings, depression, sleeplessness, irritability in women. Hormone changes occur in 75% of women at this age.
5- Cholesterol check- You should get your cholesterol checked every year. If you have any problem related to diabetes, heart or kidney, then keep getting the test done on the advice of the doctor even sooner.
6- Eye test- With age, there is a complaint of cataract or glaucoma in the eyes. You should keep getting your eyes examined every 6 days with the advice of a doctor.
